Kestrel Technologies is looking for an experienced Machine Setter/Operator and Programmer to manufacture parts from CAD data on our 3 & 5 axis CNC machines while using Powermill for CAM programming. You will be producing a variety of parts such as Epoxy Patterns, rohacell cores, bespoke 3D models and RIM tooling for different sectors: F1, Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, film/TV and shop models.

At Kestrel we have total of 7 CNC machines which include 5 axis capabilities.
Details about the position:
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
26 Days holiday, plus bank holidays per year.
Salary: £27,500.00 - £40,000 per year depending on current level of experience and based on a 38-hour week. Our standard working hours are between 7-8 am till 3-4 pm with the potential to earn more with overtime available on top of this as well at time and a half.

Experience required:
· Experience of 3 or 5 axis CNC machining.
· Experience of CAM software Powermill preferred.
· Good attention to detail.
· Practical skills and experience with hand tools and machinery such as a Band saw.
· Familiarity with engineering drawings.
· Understanding of inspection measuring equipment.
· Have good communication skills.
Preferred skills:
· Heidenhain TNC controls.
