THE ROLE
As our Rally Raid team expands, we’re looking to appoint a Rally Raid Engineer to provide engineering support on both Rally Raid events and back at the factory. Extracting maximum performance whilst ensuring the efficient running of our competition vehicles, you are at the very core of the team – travelling the world in pursuit of the very best results.
The role and responsibilities include:

Providing technical expertise and leadership to vehicle builds prior to tests and events.

Leading car build specification and change control.

Defining and delivering vehicle running procedures and ensuring the efficient running of event entry cars.

Helping to drive an integrated and collaborative approach to improving performance aspects, including identifying and resolving technical issues.

Undertaking calculations and whole vehicle performance analysis.

Prepare post event reports and bulletins to include event and performance analysis of both the car and team.

Ensuring all event entry cars comply with FIA technical regulations.

Preparing a high standard of technical documentations and details of technical updates.

Helping the team in the development and improvement of internal systems to aid efficiency and quality.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and can-do attitude.
You should be educated to either a MEng or BEng degree level in either Motorsport/Automotive Engineering and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.
You should have experience and knowledge of data logging and analysis software, and be well organised and delivery focused, as well as having strong problem-solving skills.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills and be confident producing professional technical documents and reports.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar chassis/race engineering role in Motorsport. This can include; Rallying or Racing.
