Car Chief Emil Frey Racing (100% - in a permanent position)
Competing in European Championships starting in January 2025
Your tasks:
- Lead and coordinate the car crew both at the racetrack and in the workshop, ensuring seamless collaboration and high performance
- Oversee the setup and preparation of race cars for events and tests, following the specifications provided by the chief mechanic and race engineer
- Ensure flawless vehicle operation during races and tests, proactively addressing any technical issues
- Execute car setup in line with the race engineer's specifications to optimize performance
- Manage the maintenance and testing of all vehicle components and racing equipment, ensuring reliability and safety
- Participate as a key member of the pit crew in an assigned function, contributing to race day success
Your profile:
- Several years of experience as a mechanic and car chief with race cars, Formula or GT3
- Strong technical background with proven reliability, resilience, and adaptability in high-pressure environments
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
- You are dynamic, highly motivated, loyal, and thrive in a collaborative team setting
- You're familiar with Windows Office applications
- Good knowledge in English (written and spoken), German is an advantage
