Network Development Manager

What to Expect

Reporting into the Head of Network Strategy and in partnership with the Network Development Manager and Regional Business Managers, define all global market strategies and project-manage all new Retailer facility locations, ensuring all approved McLaren suppliers have framework standards in place with high performing Retailers recognised and low performing Retailers with actions in place.

What You'll Do

  • Reporting into the Head of Network Strategy and in partnership with the Network Development Manager and Regional Business Managers, define all global market strategies and project-manage all new Retailer facility locations.
  • Ensure all approved McLaren suppliers have framework standards in place and monitor and track performance on a monthly basis along with annual reviews.
  • Manage the administration of new partner applications through to final dealer setup as a McLaren authorised retailer, ensuring communication with relevant departments.
  • Support the Head of Network Strategy with the management of the annual departmental budget, working with Finance and Purchasing as required.
  • Ensure the McLaren Brand Corporate identity has consistent application across all the McLaren Network facility locations, and across all areas within the retail environment.
  • Manage the Retail Design Team and McLaren appointed Design Agency to execute the Design delivery of all Retailer projects.
  • Work with the Regional Business Managers on the retail design of new retailers, service centres and changes to existing facilities.
  • Maintain governance of all documentation pertaining to franchise applications, due diligence, approvals and contracts.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in automotive OEM sales in role that offers a relevant background that would translate to this role.
  • Proven experience in analysing a market situation and identifying opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organisational skill set.
  • Ability to bring creative ideas, solutions and translate them into actions.
  • Confident in communicating with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and being able to influence where required to ensure commitments are met.
