Purpose of Role

Supporting the Head of Supply Chain Transformation in applying Program Governance process and tools to achieve project targets and business imperatives with robust, efficient, and consistent delivery.

Responsibility for ensuring the appropriate strategy for each program is followed to maximise efficiency, accuracy, and profitability of each individual project.

Coaching and mentoring the Stakeholders to ensure they operate per the Project Management processes and deploy best practices and behaviours.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan for digital transformation initiatives, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives, including change management, business process reengineering, and technology implementation
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action as needed to ensure successful delivery of objectives
  • Define and implement governance structures and processes to ensure effective decision-making and risk management
  • Develop and deliver communication and training plans to ensure successful adoption of digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify new digital opportunities and initiatives that align with business objectives and drive innovation
  • Lead and manage the business developments by means of RFP’s nomination(s)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Information Technology, or Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in programme management, with a focus on digital transformation and technology implementation
  • Proven track record of leading successful transformation programmes, including change management and technology implementation
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies and their application in business, including emerging trends and best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in managing complex budgets and resource allocation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in developing and delivering communication and training plans to support change management initiatives
