Role Purpose:   

Work as part of a team of Wind Tunnel and CFD Aerodynamicists to improve the aerodynamic performance of the car.

Main Duties:

Technical input and development for an area of the F1 aero package

Assist in the preparation and planning for wind tunnel test sessions.

Analysis of CFD and experimental results.

Operational Duties:

  • Best use of WT/CFD personnel and tools to achieve aerodynamic performance targets.
  • Awareness and understanding of the aero package within the group’s area of responsibility with a proactive attitude towards both continual improvements and technical innovations.
  • Thorough analysis and reporting of CFD/WT results to establish robust aerodynamic solutions.
  • Planning for / running accurate and efficient WT tests.
  • Maintain positive relationships and clear communication of information throughout the department and across the team.
