Purpose

  • Support the Team’s brand and marketing function by contributing to the delivery of high impact and integrated marketing campaigns for our brand and partners.
  • Support the Team’s wider marketing department to co-ordinate across workstreams and optimise operations.
  • Champion fan engagement liaison, co-ordinating fan communication and day-to-day community management.
  • Actively contribute to the Team’s primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for updating all marketing plans across all digital and physical touchpoints, providing weekly updates on the status of activations and campaigns to the marketing team.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the creation of brand and partner campaign briefs and support delivery of all activation.
  • Assist in the briefing and approval of creative assets for key internal and external activations, campaigns and events.
  • Support BAU and promotional content deployment on digital channels such as email and paid social.
  • Collaborate with, and provide updates to, colleagues across the Commercial team on relevant marketing activations.
  • Working in partnership with our HR and Employee Relations team to ensure the factory-based and trackside teams are engaged and up to date with all key brand and marketing messages and activations.
  • Own and assist various levels of project management and operations in marketing-led projects.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and the Audience Development team to provide post-campaign reports and analysis documentation.
  • Deliver the fan engagement promotional calendar, including competitions and surprise and delight activity for our ‘I / AM members’, liaising directly with fans where appropriate.
  • Set up and oversee fan mail communications process.
  • Support wider Marketing departmental duties.

 

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digitally focused growth business marketing, and or marketing communications and events.
  • You will also have worked for a brand or sports team with a strong focus on customer/fan experience and/or customer/fan acquisition.
  • Be engaged and up to date on current trends and culture with an interest in art, design, music or fashion.
  • You will also have strong communication skills to work with the different teams, and to drive alignment across the functions in support of the strategy implementation.
  • You will be collaborative in your working style and be able to build and manage relationships internally and externally.
  • An agile approach, driving and embracing change and adapting strategies on the fly.
  • Expertise in all major business software applications (Microsoft Office, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and think in a challenging and changeable environment.

 

The role will be based in London but travel to Silverstone is required on an ad-hoc basis.
