Job description:
We are seeking a Composite Trim & Assembly Manager to lead our assembly processes at the Andretti Cadillac Team based in Silverstone. In this role, you will oversee the trim and assembly of composite components, ensuring quality and efficiency. By fostering a strong team environment, you will contribute to our mission of achieving excellence in motorsport.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage and lead the trim and assembly team, setting objectives and performance targets.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in the assembly of composite components.
  • Develop and optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of components.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of assembled components.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Facilitate training and development of team members to enhance capabilities and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar management role in composite trim and assembly within the motorsport or aerospace industries.
  • Strong knowledge of composite materials and assembly techniques.
  • Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in using tools for project management and reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in training and mentoring team members.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
