General Role Overview:

Fisker Inc. is looking for a Sr. Automotive Financial Analyst to join its Financial Services and Insurance team in Canada.  This person is responsible for managing financing operations while working closely across all internal functions and with financial institutions to ensure the best possible customer experience.  It involves resolving customer issues, solutioning system enhancements, and providing support to Fisker’s sales, customer communication and vehicle admin team.  This is a critical role that requires an attitude of ownership and customer service, exceptional organizational skills and analytical skills.  Knowledge of automotive finance products, incentive and competitive offers is highly desired.  The role offers growth opportunities assuming more responsibility during the roll-out phase of the financial services and insurance across different regions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own industry benchmark on partner solutions, financing programs, and operational process in the entire finance product journey

  • Prepare analytics around rates, product, incentive and special promotion in the marketplace and draw strategic insights.

  • Identify areas of opportunity within the customer journey and collaboratively design and implement improvements.

  • Serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert for questions and issues surrounding the financing process.

  • Manage manual credit application through dealer portal and ensure completion of all financing requirements.

  • Work closely with the Fisker Vehicle Admin team and our financing partner to increase sales conversion rate.

  • Lead daily reconciliation process on vehicle sales and financing transactions to ensure Fisker’s financial interests.

  • Design and facilitate ad hoc and formal training sessions of customer-facing colleagues on financial services partnerships, products, and processes.

  • Build dashboard report on finance operations and performance management KPIs.

  • Support financial analysis for business strategies, key initiatives such as lease and F&I and provide recommendations for decision-making.

  • Support the development of strategic plans for optimized productivity.

  • Contribute cross-functionally and assist with other key projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional prior work experience, preferred in Automotive OEM, Captive or Bank/Financial Services

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.

  • Great interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:

  • Expertise in Automotive financing/leasing is desired.

  • Passion and keen interest for building our innovative financial services department.

  • High-energy and composed personality that can work confidently with large banks and ancillary product partners.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce and/or SAP considered a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and quickly without compromising excellence.

  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, to be adaptable to change, both big and small

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
