Job objective:
- Coordination and technical management of the racing vehicles
- Development, support and implementation of processes and procedures
- Simulation of possible vehicle settings for maximum performance capacity
Tasks:
- Overviewing the preparation and development of the car
- Managing the mechanics and drivers
- Race strategy
- Making sure the car is compliant to the technical regulations at all times
- Knowledge of sporting and technical regulations
- Performance analysis and documentation of driver feedback
- Performance enhancing set up development using data analysis and simulation tools
- Analysis of KPI reports
- Provide ideas to improve chassis and set up development
- Investigate new development tools and technologies
- Pre & post event reports
- Monitor telemetry data during race events
Requirements:
- Bachelor‘s or Master‘s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant experience of high level motorsport e.g. GTWC, WEC, DTM
- Team player and high level on integrity
- High level of vehicle dynamics knowledge
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English, German is beneficial
- Matlab, Simulink, VB, Python capabilities
- Experience with vehicle simulation
- HHDM + HH timing experience
- Data analysis and understanding, Cosworth PI / Motec / Bosch

- Bereitstellung von Ideen zur Verbesserung des Fahrwerks und der Setup-Entwicklung
- Untersuchung neuer Entwicklungstools und -technologien
- Berichte vor und nach der Veranstaltung
- Überwachung der Telemetriedaten während Rennveranstaltungen
Anforderungen:
- Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss im Bereich Maschinenbau, Elektronik oder Fahrzeugtechnik
- Mindestens 3 Jahre relevante Erfahrungen im hochprofessionellen Motorsport, z.B. GTWC, WEC, DTM
- Teamplayer und hohes Maß an Integrität
- Hohes Maß an fahrdynamischen Kenntnissen
- Flexibilität und Reisebereitschaft
- Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
- Fließendes Englisch, Deutsch ist von Vorteil
- Matlab-, Simulink-, VB- und Python-Kenntnisse
- Erfahrungen im Bereich Fahrzeugsimulation
- HHDM + HH Timing-Erfahrung
- Datenanalyse und -verständnis von Cosworth PI / Motec / Bosch
