The Job
The Facility Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the Gainesville property which includes the track and buildings, and reports to the Operations & Facility Supervisor. This role is responsible for general facility maintenance which includes painting, cleaning restrooms, pressure washing, cleaning, vehicles and track maintenance, plumbing, landscaping and general grounds upkeep. Additional duties as needed.

LOCATION: Gainesville Raceway
FLSA/SALARY: Hourly / $15.00/hr.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in a previous maintenance position is a plus.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Must maintain a high quality in all work including accuracy and timeliness.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients and all levels of management both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, run, climb stairs, or lift as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to talk on the phone as needed.
  • Must be able to work outdoors sometimes in extreme temperatures.
