Composite Technician - Machining (1 x Weekend & 1 x Nights)

Alpine F1 Team is seeking a Composites Technician Machinist (1 x Nights & 1 x Weekend) to join our team in Enstone.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing parts that meet company objectives and best practices.
  • Collaborating with team leaders and teammates to provide input on design for manufacturing.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Meeting deadlines using company systems like “Work To Lists” and D365.
  • Processing workload and releasing to the next operation promptly.
  • Checking materials for correctness according to route operations and technical specifications.
  • Recording and communicating non-conformance issues as per department procedures.

The Person:

  • Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models.
  • Proficient in using current department technology.
  • PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to create a positive profile for yourself and the department.
  • Flexible approach to work, able to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • High performer with the ability to remain focused and objective under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Adherence to good housekeeping and health & safety policies.
