The Position:
The Head of Enterprise Systems will lead the development, implementation, support and maintenance of WF1’s Enterprise Systems solution, acting as a business partner to ensure our end-to-end business operations are founded on a best-in-class technology solution.
Scope includes PLM, ERP, MES, and in future HRIS
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for end-to-end system coherence and the strategic development roadmap, driving the overall improvement direction and prioritisation for the team.
- Provide key input to business transformation programmes.
- Maintain close communication with other IT functions and business departments to agree integrated plans and deliver on commitments.
- Own vendor relationships, developing the partnering approach and managing contracts.
- Lead the Enterprise Systems team, creating a culture of excellence, and collective mindset to deliver the business’s end-to-end strategic requirements, and developing capabilities within the team.
- Drive reduction in system downtime, improving support and speed of resolution, and acting as the escalation point for all Enterprise Systems-related services.
- Ensure the team is aligned with DPT best practices, and support activities are centralised as appropriate
Requirements:
- Equally comfortable with building a strategic roadmap and detailed integration mapping
- Strong partnering approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leader who enjoys building and developing high performance teams
- Experience of working with PLM, ERP and MES within a fast moving engineering and manufacturing environment
- Driven to improve, relishing the opportunity to shape our direction and have a significant impact on our future
