Our Aftermarket operations are based out of Poway, CA and our Motorsports operations are based out of Mooresville, NC.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide internal quality support for Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) teams.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving activities with both OE and AM quality teams.
  • Assist in daily issue resolution ("firefighting") in collaboration with various support groups.
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to evaluate the accuracy and precision of measurement systems.
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks in processes and products.
  • Use and calibrate various gauges and measurement tools to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development and analysis of measurement systems.
  • Coordinate product dimensional validation efforts to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or a related field, with availability for a co-op position.
  • Basic knowledge or coursework in quality tools such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Willingness to learn and use gauges and measurement tools for product dimensional validation and quality control.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and an eagerness to support issue resolution ("firefighting") in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in continuous improvement principles and a desire to contribute to enhancing product and process efficiency.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with OE and AM quality teams, as well as other cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate projects under guidance in a dynamic work setting.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on learning accuracy and quality compliance techniques.
