Number 2 race mechanic

Your responsibilities will include:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Number 2 Mechanic with previous motorsport experience to work within our growing race team.
The candidate will report directly to the workshop director and take direct instruction from the number 1 mechanic.
The working hours are 0700-1600 with a half hour lunch break, some weekend and evening work will be required as per the race and test schedule as well as other business requirements and demands. The role will require domestic and international travel and a willingness to work the hours a role of this kind requires.

- Working unsupervised to high standards
- Previous motorsport experience essential
- Preparing cars and attending historic race meetings
- Fabrication/welding experience
Weekend work and travel to races will be required, including a limited number of overseas trips.
The individual must be able to operate with a high level of detail and accuracy and have a full driving licence.
Job Location: Cobham, Surrey.
Job Type: Full time with opportunity for overtime. 40-hour week plus one Saturday morning every five weeks.
