Job Description
Red Bull Advanced Technologies are constantly elevating performance to new heights, and the recently announced RB17 two-seat Hypercar is set to be the ultimate on-track driving experience pushing design and technical boundaries far beyond what has previously been imagined. We are looking for a passionate Electrical CAD Design Engineer.
This Electrical CAD Design based role involves:
Design and maintain wiring looms, electrical devices, assemblies, interfaces and associated mounting mechanisms/hardware. Mechanical and electrical CAD modelling, cable routing between parts using NX Electrical application (ideally) via use of the PORT feature. Produce engineering drawings of cables and parts using drafting application whilst also using Team Centre as a file and revision management system.
So, you’ve heard a little about the role, here’s what we would like from you to be considered:
- Extensive experience with Computer Aided Design Harness packages (Ideally NX) but we would consider other software.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent within Electronics discipline.
- Possess a strong understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems used within the Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive industries.
- Experience in producing robust design solutions for small batch, prototype, Analogue and Digital circuits and have experience of working as part of a small multi skilled engineering group.
- Experience with PLM software such as TeamCenter and logical circuits software such as Siemens Capital would be advantageous.
