About this Position:
By utilizing 3D/2D and visual inspection data, the NM Q Engineer will collect and analyze data, develop countermeasures, and oversee and/or lead the Q data process to meet the die/mold requirement to achieve and/or exceed production KPI targets for long-term stability. From their knowledge and experience, they will also feed forward this information into future models to shorten the maturation process, and trial events and reduce overall energy.
Responsibilities include:

Collect and analyze quality data to develop countermeasures to meet quarterly targets.

Feedforward any past knowledge into preliminary new model development to shorten maturation.

Evaluate and ensure the final quality of dies shipped to the production plant.

Present Q results to the team and path forward for any non-conforming data.

Work/Interact with customers to meet customer quarterly targets and expectations.

Develop part supplementals.

Create Fixture specs for parts produced by tooling.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
-
0-2 years' experience in Die Cast, Stamping, or Plastics.
Required Education:
-
Associate degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology or HS Diploma with equivalent Die Cast, Stamping or Plastics experience.
Desired skills:

Familiar with Microsoft Word.
