SUMMARY

As part of the Global Compressors Supplier Quality Assurance organization the employee will have frequent contact to the Purchasing Department, as well as to the other supplier quality assurance engineers within the MAHLE production plants globally. Furthermore, frequent communication and alignment with global lead buyers as well as engineering will be part of the job. In addition, Quality Approvals for sourcing new supplier components. On time development of the suppliers to the adequate level of conformity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • PPAP on time feasibility, capability.
  • on time feasibility, capability.
  • Auditing supplier manufacturing capability (VDA 6.3).
  • Approve supplier sourcing nomination for new projects in the name of quality.
  • Manage on time APQP (Advanced Project Quality Planning) for projects in development (PDP).
  • Manage on time PPAP (production parts approval process) activities for projects in development (PDP).
  • Manage on time at supplier location.
  • Manage on time APQP/PPAP for Supplier Change Requests
  • Manage supplier escalations within the supplier quality organization.
  • Communicate and interface within the supplier quality organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree (mechatronic, electrical, electronics).
  • No less than 5 years' experience in the automotive industry (no less than 2 years in Quality)
  • In-depth knowledge of the methodology for the standardized assurance of the quality and reliability of E/E products and components (Simulation, CAE, AEC Qxx - series, IPC A series, Functional Safety ISO 26262 (HIL/SIL), Automotive Spice, as well as the HV specifications).
  • Understanding manufacturing processes of electric/electronic assemblies: PCB assembly, ESD, LIN bus, software, assembly and automation, high-voltage technology.
  • VDA 6.3 certification is preferred.
  • Full knowledge on Automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, R&R, GDT)
  • Desirable to have Six Sigma training (Green Belt)
  • Basic IT Tools (MS Suite)
