We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Production Assistant to join the team at our small but expanding company in Newport, Essex. The successful candidate will perform a range of assembly, finishing and testing tasks, to complete products manufactured on our site.
Duties include but are not limited to:-
- Working from manufacturing documents and drawings to assemble a range of small parts.
- Completing the assembly and testing of products.
- Shaping and finishing of parts.
- General tidying and keeping workspace clean.
The ideal candidate would be one who enjoys assembling items, has some experience with small tools and benchwork and would enjoy new challenges as part of a team.
Attention to detail and good manual dexterity are required and the role involves some lifting and standing, along with using hand and power tools on a daily basis.
An interest in the motorsport would be an advantage.
