An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Solution Architect to join our ERP Team. As our ERP Finance Solution Architect, you will be responsible to gather and document business processes and requirements covering all elements the finance domain. Reporting into the Head of ERP, the successful candidate would be a pivotal member of the overall ERP team responsible for the end to end Finance service.
About the Role:
As our ERP Finance Solution Architect, you will be charged to drive the transformation of our overall Finance Solutions and Architecture to meet the demands of the fast paced Formula One business. That includes partnering with the business to understand processes and requirements, collaborating with a team of highly experienced and professional functional and development resources ensuring appropriate knowledge assets are created to ensure the right solutions are delivered, maintained and adopted.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of gathering business requirements associated with specific and documented business processes and be an expert in converting these into an overall solution design following recognised best practices. In the case of Finance, this is the end to end process across Finance, Controlling and Reporting ensuring that dynamic needs of Formula One and the associated regulatory requirements are met and executed in the most efficient manner.
Once the requirements are clear, documented and agreed by all stakeholders, the Solution Architect will be responsible to work with all impacted parties to ensure that a world class solution is delivered in line with priorities and expectations. Example activities which may take place as part of this lifecycle include:

Exploratory workshops and demonstrations with internal/external stakeholders.

Solution blueprinting and Fit/Gap workshops.

Unit, System & Acceptance Testing.

To be successful you will have:
Essential
-
Considerable proven Finance solution experience.
-
Significant proven experience in a SAP Finance Domain Solution Architect position.

Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO and the integration points with Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution.

Experienced in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP and the associated user experience of those solutions.

Extensive knowledge of SAP Best Practices.

Good knowledge of the latest development methodologies.

Extensive experience of all SAP Finance related modules and the broader SAP ecosystem.

Excellent planning, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
