Race Mechanic / Fabricator
T Sport Bernau is looking for a motivated and flexible race mechanic to work with our team at FIA European Truck Racing events and at our main workshop in Burscough, Lancashire, UK.
For the right candidate we offer a permanent position in a successful, young and driven truck race team with the possibility of further development.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation and service of our race truck
* Preparation and fabrication of spare parts
* Report reliability issues and seek solutions with our engineers
* Precision work and pace is expected
* Setup and pack up race tents at events
Qualifications:
* General mechanical knowledge is a must.
*Work experience in motorsport preferable.
* High willingness to travel, flexible attitude to working hours including working at weekends.
* Basic fabrication and welding skills are a must + willingness to learn new skills.
* Exceptional attitude towards attention to detail.
* Must be able to work closely with other team members and enjoy the challenge of working in a high pressured, time sensitive environment.
* Good English is essential, other languages would be beneficial.
