Communications Executive

Alpine F1 Team have a new opportunity as a Communication Executive to join our Communication Team.

The Role

We are looking for a Communication Executive to join our Communications Team in Enstone, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to the wider communication team and manage the day-to-day running of the team’s operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing the team’s annual communication plan to improve brand visibility and media outcome.
  • Written communications support- assisting in the production of press kits, press materials, writing previews, fact files, features and press releases where necessary in English, including translations.
  • Editorial – Develop ideas for editorial content around the team, determine the look and feel of the stories, including publishing channels both digital and print.
  • General media communications and requests (responding to queries, scheduling, working with accredited media, coordinating media requests etc.).
  • Proactive media opportunity creation:
    • working with markets and direct with media outlets to expand the reach of media awareness, proposing creative ideas to maximise Alpine F1 Team’s presence in F1.
    • working with brands / partners of the team to amplify campaigns.
  • Supporting activities taking place at Alpine F1 Team headquarters in Enstone – Act as a project leader for onsite filming and media activations
  • Reporting and media monitoring – Provide reports on media announcements and PR campaigns as well as ongoing media monitoring.
  • Offer support across the wide-ranging functions of Communications (press office, social media, internal, corporate, activities around Grand Prix events)

The Person

  • 2-3 years of public relations/communications experience.
  • Experience in media relations and communications activities for athletes, teams, entertainers or executives.
  • Experience and understanding of multinational brands and companies.
  • Ability to garner trust from management and team members.
  • Good written skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to think laterally and practically to create and maximise media opportunities.
  • French language skills an advantage.
  • Proactive/ hands-on character.
  • Understanding of fast-paced motorsport environment.
  • Existing experience in communications from previous work experiences/internships.
  • Knowledge of motorsports.
  • Motivated, likes working as part of a team and independently.
  • Solid organisation and prioritisation skills to ensure the delivery of multiple projects (forward planning, schedules).
  • A self-starter who is creative and can plan and organise their own tasks.
  • Ability to work based in Enstone.
