Role Purpose

As our Sustainability Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our environmental strategy and implementing initiatives that minimize our footprint. You will collaborate with teams across the organization, engage with external stakeholders, and champion sustainable practices at every level.

Main Duties

  • Sustainability Assessments: Evaluate our current environmental practices, identify improvement areas, and pinpoint opportunities for new initiatives.
  • Sustainability Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies, integrating sustainable practices across operations, supply chain, and product development.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, and prepare detailed sustainability reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting sustainability awareness and building support for initiatives.
  • Energy and Resource Management: Identify and implement measures to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste, and enhance resource efficiency.
  • Training and Education: Develop training programs to educate employees about sustainability practices and raise awareness among stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and measure the impact of sustainability initiatives through KPIs and regular assessments.
  • Sustainability Budget Holder: Manage the sustainability budget, track spending, and build business cases for CapEx requests.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management and budget management experience.
  • A passion for sustainability and a drive to make a positive impact.
