Maintenance EngineerAndover, HampshirePermanent Position£35000 to £45000Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer required for one of the region's largest fresh food producersThe facility has just had a £30 Million upgrade with additional upgrades and improvements pencilled in for later this yearYou'll be working in a strong team compromising of Engineering Manager 2 Supervisors and 11 Shift EngineersYou will be required on a shift basis 4 on 4 offQualificationsRecognised Electrical Qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND etc)Experience of working in FMCG/fresh produce/food environmentAble to read and update electrical/mechanical drawingsThe ability to work within all necessary H&S legislation (e.g. SSOW, COSHH)Use of TPM/RCM/RCA principles to drive improvements in performancePlc experience (Siemens/Mitsubishi)Fabrication experience (including welding)Electrical installation experienceSafety qualification (IOSH)18th Edition IEE (BS7671)DutiesTo ensure all electrical equipment is maintained to guarantee person and operator safetyTo assist the Head of Engineering/Shift Leader to plan work and systems so that the equipment/machinery is maintained to agreed standards and within agreed timescalesTo ensure the correct procedure is followed when ordering and replacing equipmentTo ensure all records are kept up to date, engineering Database, engineering work sheets and permits to workAssist the Head of Engineering/Shift Leader with coaching and training of staff ensuring that correct techniques and procedures are followedEnsure our safety image is reflected positively through your actionsTake responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purposeEnsure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of controlTo ensure that equipment and machinery breakdowns are efficiently rectified to ensure maximum equipment uptimeTo maintain all metering measuring points to ensure accurate recorded and measured through the weekly utility reportAdherence with all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
