We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join us.
Please note this is an office-based role only.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to support the Accounts Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Role activities will include (but not limited to):
- Input of Purchase Ledger Invoices
- Supplier Payment Runs
- Dealing with Customer/Supplier Requests
- Input of Sales Ledger Invoices
- Processing Payments/Receipts
- Credit Control
- Bank Reconciliations
- General admin duties
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Minimum of 3 GCSE Grades 5+ including Math's and English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Confident telephone manner.
- A keen interest in Finance.
Desirable
- A minimum of 1-year in a similar finance/office-based role.
- Prior knowledge of accounting systems and their function.
- A good understanding of MS Office, specifically Excel.
