Trackside Aerodynamicist – The Role

You will play a vital role in the search for performance every race weekend, ensuring that you use all the data available to take well informed, critical decisions for the setup and build of the car in order to maximise the potential of our aero package.

You will work closely with the race engineering and vehicle performance groups, from event preparations, simulations, driver in the loop simulator and at the track, providing analysis and reporting, ensuring no performance opportunity is missed whilst contributing to operational excellence.

You will provide a vital link between the aero development work and the track environment, identifying aerodynamic performance weaknesses, suggesting improvements and ensuring that our track testing approach, instrumentation, and operations provide us with the highest quality inputs for future developments.

You will use your experience to lead and manage key long-term projects, driving meaningful improvements to tools, methodology and practices.
