About the role:  

As a Junior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering department at PWR Europe based in Rugby. Contributing to the design, analysis, and optimization of our cutting-edge cooling systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced innovative environment and accelerate your career.  

  • Use advanced 2D & 3D design skills (AutoCAD, Solidworks) for drawings and models. 

  • Apply reverse engineering to develop solutions from customer-supplied data. 

  • Assess components for form, fit, and function with meticulous detail. 

  • Evaluate production processes for quality and efficiency enhancements. 

  • Propose design improvements for product performance and durability. 

  • Develop project plans to prioritize engineering tasks. 

  • Maintain accurate data entry, MRP, and ERP systems. 

  • Create detailed bills of materials (BOMs) for components. 

  • Establish workplace systems in compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100. 

  • Conduct performance testing of components and assemblies. 

  • Address non-conformances with corrective actions. 

What we are looking for: 

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities. 

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Solidworks). 

  • Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Demonstrates drive, dedication, and results-oriented mindset.
