THE ROLE

We are looking to appoint two Parts Coordinators to lead the management of components alongside two of our growing and exciting motorsport programmes. The programmes with openings are Rally2 and Rally Raid.  

Reporting to our Senior Buyer and working alongside our Project Managers, Engineers and Technical Partners to plan, forecast and schedule the procurement and movement of parts, the Parts Coordinator will ensure accurate, on-time delivery and a smooth running of operations for a seamless flow of research and development.

​The role and responsibilities include:

  • Manage the supply of key components from suppliers.

  • Coordinate the distribution of parts in alignment with approved allocations and car build specifications.

  • Feedback any required changes to suppliers.

  • Research and implement strategies for continuous improvement. 

  • Collect and report data relating to parts and produce recommendations for stocking to ensure supply.

  • Regularly check the status of parts, and reorder when required.

  • Manage and replenish travelling stores and manage and distribute parts when on events.

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should be a well-organised individual with a penchant for detail and an understanding of stock management and parts flow in a manufacturing environment.

You should have a technical background with knowledge of car components and materials used in performance manufacture.

You should have an ability to read and understand CAD and technical drawings and possess an efficient and systematic approach to working.

You should be capable of prioritising busy workloads to meet strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment and be a creative thinker with a talent for resolving issues in an effective and timely manner.

You should be proactive with a consistently high level of performance and have strong communication skills to converse clearly and efficiently with senior management, internal departments and external suppliers alike.

You should be prepared to travel with the team as the projects evolves and, above all, share our determination to deliver a winning performance.
