We are looking for an experienced 5 axis programmer/setter/operator to join our busy ShearXL business unit working predominantly within the motorsports industry for some extremely prestigious customers.
For this role we are looking for the following:
· Excellent Cad/Cam skills, preferably using Hypermill, but training will be provided if necessary for the right candidate.
· 5 axis programming/machining experience.
· Experience working with castings would be an advantage but not essential.
· The reading and interpretation of complex drawings.
· Flexibility as tight deadlines are common.
· The design and manufacture of simple fixtures where appropriate.
· Work documentation – logging times onto our ERP system accurately to ensure job profitability and ISO 9001 conformance.
