Spare Parts and Logistics Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Spare Parts Co-Ordinator to join Formula Motorsport Ltd in the FIA F2/F3 Championship. In this role, you will be assisting with the supply chain of spare parts and ensuring they are readily available to meet the Teams needs. This includes coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, assisting with the logistics and distribution of parts.

Reporting into the Spare Parts Manager, you will:

  • Travel to F2, F3 events and tests and when required travel to suppliers in the UK and in Europe
  • Inventory control including physical inventories and investigating any differences between theoretical and physical stock
  • Support the Spare Parts Manager with sales and stock level details for post event ordering
  • Support the F2 and F3 teams with sourcing of spares directly from our suppliers 
  • Support the Spare Parts Manager with our supplier relationship including resolving any issues or urgent orders
  • Daily communication with head office regarding team and stock orders
  • Assist with arranging all shipping documents and Carnets for spare parts and hospitality
  • Support with management of spare parts and hospitality trucks, in terms of the leases, logistics around annual checks, maintenance and movement around Europe

Specification Essentials:

  • Car Parts/Mechanical experience
  • Experience in Stock Control and Logistics
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive approach and shows initiative in all situations.
  • Ability to travel up to 15 events per season
