LMP2 Race Engineer

We are also wanting to invest in our people; therefore we are looking for an LMP2 Race Engineer who can work within our team, giving us a competitive advantage and who is able to successfully deliver a race winning performance. 

 

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To lead and organise the running of one of our Oreca LMP2 cars.  
  • Organise all operational aspects of running a car including creating pre-event documents, managing job lists, preparing the run plans.
  • Together with the systems / performance engineer determine and implement the best race strategy.
  • Complete detailed post event analysis of chassis, driver performance and race strategy. 
  • Communicate well with all members of the team.
  • Lead engineering briefings with drivers and the crew.
  • Work with the team’s sister Race Engineer and the Technical Director to maximise team efficiency and output.

 

Experience / requirements:

  • A proven track record in an endurance championship such as WEC, ELMS, IMSA.
  • A Masters / Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A good understanding of vehicle dynamics.
  • Must have strong communication and organisation skills.
  • Ideally based in the UK. Applications from Europe will be considered.
