Position Responsibility:

  • Embrace a “Working Supervisor” role. Employee will be required to work alongside Grounds Staff
  • Develop and establish effective landscape, garden and ground maintenance plans
  • Service and maintain multiple irrigation systems and backflow preventers
  • Plan and provide grounds staff with daily assignments
  • Manage yearly landscape budget & order/inventory supplies needed
  • Ensure all landscape equipment is cleaned, serviced and maintained
  • Communicate safety standards and incident reporting processes for teammates
  • Hire part-time staff to assist with landscape duties around NASCAR event weekends
  • Oversee NASCAR event weekend housekeeping and cleanup crews
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations & Vice President of Operations

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar grounds/landscaping role
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project management/supervisor role
  • Proficient in the English language, knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable
  • High school diploma or GED (equivalency)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Positive attitude and creative problem solver who enjoys multi-tasking

Position Type: Full-time

Compensation: Negotiable based on prior work experience
