About the Role:

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst - Treasury & Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily banking and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the raising of invoices and billing system.

  • Supporting team members in their use of the company billing system.

  • Recovering monies due in a timely & effective manner.

  • Process owner for manual payment requests and bank approvals.

  • Responsible for banking and accounts receivable balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.

  • Administrator duties for bank accounts including managing users, payments, direct debits and standing orders.

  • Responsible for ensuring MGP’s liquidity is maintained by way of information transparency.

  • Weekly cashflow management including identifying currency gaps and organising purchase or sale of currency.

  • Weekly cashflow planning with the support of the accounts payable team.

  • Preparation of monthly cashflow shareholder reporting information and supporting analysis.

  • Variance analysis of actuals to forecasted cashflow amounts.

  • Supporting the Financial Accounting Manager with adhoc requests as required.

To be successful you will have:

  • An AAT Qualification.

  • Experience of working a similar role.

  • Excellent data analysis and communication skills.

  • Experience in driving change and process improvement.

  • Forecasting and variance analysis experience.

  • Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential.

In addition, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and disciplined with a high attention to detail. Strong data analysis skills and the ability to communicate and present information clearly and succinctly is also important for this role.
