We are looking for a Wind Tunnel Operator (m/f/d) for our Aerodynamics Department in Cologne, Germany.

Your tasks:
- Execute Wind Tunnel test runs
- Use Wind Tunnel Control Systems and solve possible problems and failures with the (sub)systems during wind tunnel sessions
- Regular inspection and maintenance of wind tunnel machinery and equipment
- Preparation of wind tunnel systems before each test session
- Mechanical assembly, installation, and testing of wind tunnel and model equipment and tools
- Provide support and information to Wind Tunnel Aerodynamic Engineers
Your profile:
- Willingness and curiosity to learn the technological aspects of Wind Tunnel testing
- Excellent team player and communicator, able to work effectively across multiple groups
- Responsible working style and good interpersonal skills
- Good manual dexterity for mechanical and/or electrical tasks
- Capable of working at a high level, sometimes under high pressure
- Availability to work in a day & night shift system in a Wind Tunnel environment, including weekends and bank holidays
- Familiarity with Windows platform and Microsoft 365
- Good written and spoken English language skills
