Alpine F1 Team is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance Team.
The primary function of this role is to provide support to ensure key financial closing and day to day activities are completed in a robust and timely manner.

The Role
This role is really varied and will provide an excellent opportunity for growth, development and knowledge. In this role you will work closely with our finance business partners across multiple areas of finance, projects and tasks. Key responsibilities will be:
• Support the preparation of management accounts, group reports and rolling forecasting across several areas such as Inventory, IT and Fixed Assets
• Own the end to end process of inventory accounting, planning the approach to inventory recognition and expensing across items such as but not limited to car parts, merchandise and consumables
• Work with finance business partners to identify and understand variances between actuals and budgeted forecast, providing your own insights
• Work closely with finance business partners and the IT team to understand and account for IT costs
• Adhere to financial reporting and FiA Cost Cap standards
The Person
Ideally you will have held a similar role with relevant experience listed in the areas above or will have an accounting based qualification (degree, AAT, Part ACA/ACCA or similar)
You will also have:
• Excellent MS skills with the ability to interpret and summarise data, providing useful commentary and insights as well
• Proactivity, a desire to learn along with the ability to manage workload to meet deadlines are essential.
• We are an enthusiastic finance team and are looking for someone who is also enthusiastic, diligent and has the ability to build key relationships
