Sales Engineer/BDE

Due to expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer/BDE who will be responsible for combining technical knowledge and sales skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Team you will be responsible for managing the end to end sales process, from upstream selling, following up enquiries and identifying market opportunities/key decision makers to producing quotes and establishing great working relationships with clients.

About You

  • This role may suite a Composite Project Engineer (looking to move into sales), or a Sales executive in this field.
  • Be able to demonstrate a revenue growth record or value add to past projects.
  • Engineering, materials or technical further education qualification.
  • Be able to understand and communicate engineering and manufacturing principles.
  • Confident in communicating at all levels with good negotiating, influencing, network and collaboration skills.
  • Flexible work attitude and willingness to travel where necessary.
  • Possess a strong desire for success.
  • Proficient in software.
  • Strong research & analysis skills.
  • Must hold British passport/Settled Status/current RTW
