Alpine F1 Team have a new leadership opportunity to join our team as a Purchasing Team Leader – Direct at our site in Enstone to ensure the successful delivery of technical components and assemblies for the F1 race car.
Purchasing Team Leader – Direct - The Role:
This key position within our busy Purchasing group will be responsible for coaching, managing, evaluating, and developing a team of Direct Purchasing staff to support with individual and collective performance and target achievements and to manage a select set of technical components and assemblies to support the delivery of our race car and other projects. You will develop and implement working practices and procedures to continuously improve performance and results of the Purchasing Department, supporting the supplier relationship management of business critical, direct suppliers helping drive value, performance, and operational efficiency. You will lead full lifecycle sourcing projects - coaching and managing key stakeholders through all stages of end to end purchasing process, from opportunity identification, supplier negotiation and contract drafting/signature.
Purchasing Team Leader – Direct - The Person:
We are looking for an experienced operational leader with strong leadership and team-building skills. You will have a have a background of driving value and reducing risk throughout the Procurement lifecycle with experience of technical part sourcing and the ability to read and understand technical drawings. You will have extensive experience of "owning" contract negotiations with suppliers - both in regard to legal and commercial terms and be a confident communicator capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across all business units
