Our team of hundreds of skilled experts keep Formula 1 moving. You could play a vital part as a Producer, to produce video content for Formula 1’s Digital platforms based at our Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill. 

Reporting into the Senior Creative Producer, you will:

  • Support the Senior Producers, Senior Creative Producer and Executive Producer in the planning, creation and development of Formula 1’s digital video output, focusing on creative features.
  • Carry out the entire production process on projects, from ideation and pitching to storyboarding, scheduling, planning, supervising the editing process, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and to deadline.
  • Manage collaborative workflows efficiently, including stakeholder engagement and approval where necessary.
  • Supervise work being undertaken by freelance and staff editors and Junior Producers, providing guidance and creative vision, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Keep fully aware of styles and developments in digital video production and steer the creation of F1’s content accordingly.
  • Oversee final content delivery, ensuring that all the appropriate elements are technically sound, factually accurate and fully compliant with F1’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on all developments in Formula 1 and use this knowledge to ensure that Formula 1’s content is contemporary and factual.
  • Occasionally travel to events/shoots in the UK or abroad (if required), to organise and produce video content in the field.

Specification Essentials:

  • Degree or Diploma in Media Studies or similar, with specific focus on video production.
  • Experience in Production Management or Producing, ideally for digital/social media platforms/audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in maintaining collaborative communication with internal and external production stakeholders.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of current production styles and techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of Formula 1 Motorsport.
  • Highly motivated, organised, creative and ambitious, keen to embrace new challenges
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook despite setbacks and challenges

Desirable:

  • UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel
  • Production exposure on roles such as scriptwriting, AD, directing, camera, audio, editing or motion graphics.
