KARTING DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (Geneva - Switzerland)

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Head of Karting and operating within the Mass Participation Disciplines & Activities Division of the Circuit Sport Department, the Karting Development Coordinator is a key player in boosting global participation in karting. This role involves the ongoing creation and implementation of cost-effective grassroots karting initiatives, including guidelines, tools, activities, and competitions supporting FIA member clubs and ASN's, while ensuring integration with existing FIA models and championships.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

- Activation, promotion and continuous development of the Accessible & Inclusive Karting Worlwide Program.

- Encourage and support ASNs to launch and pursue Inclusive Karting projects, promoting EDI (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion) values, accessibility and talent detection.

- Collect data and experiences from ASN initatives and compile them into case study reports.

- Integration of the Inclusive Karting Program into the Global Karting Plan, as well as the day-to-day operations.

- Contact with the relevant external stakeholders (ASNs, clubs, promoters, circuits, industry, partners).

- Deployment of Accessible and inclusive concepts at national, regional, FIA events (Conferences, Congresses, Motorsport Games, etc) and FIA Championship levels (incl. business plans where necessary).

- Take part (where applicable) in setting up and organising dedicated FIA championships utilizing the arrive and drive concept where applicable.

- Take part in Day-to-day operation and facilitation of new as well as existing FIA Championships.

- Coordinate and facilitate relevant working groups.

- Day-to-day management of the IKR & NKR platforms (collection of results, data entry and supporting ASN)

PROFILE:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably related to sport management
- Good knowledge of Karting discipline
- Prior experience in motor sport or sporting federation
- Experience in Project coordination
- Interest in administrative management
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent English skills (additional proficiency in another European language is advantageous).
- Microsoft proficiency and other IT tools designed to enable real-time collaboration between different locations
