Valley Gas Speed Shop specialise in the restoration and repair of a wide range of show winning, Classic, American, Hot Rods, Race cars and concept cars, along with carrying out bespoke modifications and 'restomod' conversions. We are a family run business and have been trading for more than 20 years. We are based in Andover, Hampshire. just off the A303, M3.
We are looking for candidates with passion and traditional skills to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities will include;
- General Servicing and mechanical repairs, includes brake/fuel line replacement including shoes, cylinders etc. Suspension maintenance- bush replacements, greasing up.
- Vehicle strip-down and assembly.
- Masking up and protection of vehicle.
- Parts- thinking ahead and requesting/booking out any parts required/used for each job. Labelling of existing parts and storing correctly within designated areas.
- Welding and Fabrication- this job is 70% welding/fabricating and this applies to a variety of areas such as chassis repairs or complete new chassis fabrication, suspension upgrades, Panels to vehicle panels.
- You must be confident to work independently as well as part of the team.

- 3 years previous experience within the motor industry with MIG Welding qualifications/standards a must. (TIG would be an advantage)
This role is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with overtime available
