Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks efficiently according to precise drawings.
- Support the demands of the Weld/Fab shop within a busy manufacturing setting.
- Ensure operator quality control and adhere to good health and safety practices.
- Work as part of a team in a cellular manufacturing system and support Work Centre 01.
- Deliver and fabricate parts to drawings and specifications within set timelines to meet quality standards.
- Manage self-directed tasks effectively when working unsupervised.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and completion of works order through the Infor system.
- Promote and maintain exceptional health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the company's BSI 45001 Health & Safety management system.
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to perform both Mig and Tig welding techniques.
- Capacity to interpret drawings and execute work with high precision.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Ability to work productively in both supervised and unsupervised settings.
- Enthusiasm and flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of the production schedule.
