Welder

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks efficiently according to precise drawings.
  • Support the demands of the Weld/Fab shop within a busy manufacturing setting.
  • Ensure operator quality control and adhere to good health and safety practices.
  • Work as part of a team in a cellular manufacturing system and support Work Centre 01.
  • Deliver and fabricate parts to drawings and specifications within set timelines to meet quality standards.
  • Manage self-directed tasks effectively when working unsupervised.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and completion of works order through the Infor system.
  • Promote and maintain exceptional health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the company's BSI 45001 Health & Safety management system.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to perform both Mig and Tig welding techniques.
  • Capacity to interpret drawings and execute work with high precision.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and responsibilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Ability to work productively in both supervised and unsupervised settings.
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of the production schedule.
