Our Team
You will assist with designing and developing the engine in the internal combustion engine development area. You will supervise the design, and therefore the design and development process, from project planning all the way to the creation of the corresponding construction stage, component and variant bills of materials. You will be responsible for the provision of the parts. In collaboration with design, engine design, procurement and logistics, you will ensure that the development of the internal combustion engine achieves the maturity level required for the environment as quickly as possible. You will be involved in shaping the development process.
Your Mission
- Creating and following up on assembly and construction stage bills of materials
- Creating and updating project plans and schedules in design
- Creating schedules in external production in collaboration with Procurement
- Planning the creation path of the assembly / part in cooperation with Production, Procurement and Assembly
- Maintaining the bill of materials
- Ensuring the on-time provision of engines/components in collaboration with the interface areas
- Project management
Your Profile
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, logistics, industrial engineering
- In-depth knowledge in the fields of engine technology, goods management
- Experience with managing projects in the field of internal combustion engine development
- SAP skills regarding creating bills of materials
- CAD skills: Catia/Creo for assistance with creating bills of materials
- Experience in motorsports
- Ability to work in a team, organisational skills and strong sense of responsibility
- Independent and precise working practices
- Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to attain a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
