The Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
The vehicle dynamics engineer is responsible for the implementation of simulation software within the race teams and the Engineering Department. Must be capable of maintaining excellent standards and establishing a correlation between simulations and track measurements. Will be responsible for conducting and reporting rig and laboratory testing. The vehicle dynamics engineer will maintain and improve communication between departments.

The Role
Working in the NASCAR vehicle dynamics group, the candidate will develop simulation software used by the race teams and the Engineering Department as well as work on vehicle performance.
Responsibilities:
Simulation model development.
Model correlation with test data.
Identifying and exploiting areas of vehicle performance / development.
Assist the vehicle dynamics group with the development of an OEM DIL Simulator.

The candidate should have extensive knowledge of designing, developing and improving automotive racing components and systems of the vehicle to provide maximum vehicle function. The ideal candidate would have experience in understanding new designs and implementing and improving vehicle performance.
