Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components using various tools and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components
- Perform mig and tig welding using various materials
- Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Perform deburring + load CNC lathes and mills
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Experience in mig and tig welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for working with machinery and equipment
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Proficient in using hand tools for metalwork
- Strong welding skills with expertise in metal fabrication
