Main Duties and Responsibilities

To film and edit content to fulfil Formula 1’s internal corporate video requirements, with particular emphasis on HR and ESG projects. Please note this role does not involve travelling to races.

To capture content at Formula 1’s Media & Technology Centre and Head Offices to support all departments within the company in achieving their business objectives. This may include the Communications, HR, Sustainability and Sponsorship teams.

To edit videos to finished standard for the purposes of internal communications, Formula 1’s LinkedIn page, and other corporate uses, predominantly featuring self-shot footage.

To create graphical elements using Adobe Creative Suite for inclusion in edited videos where required.

To occasionally capture photography for Formula 1’s corporate requirements.

To occasionally capture Formula 1 editorial content where capture takes place away from races, for example at Team factories or Car Launches.

To take a leading role in the organisation and maintenance of Creative Studio’s camera, audio and lighting equipment stored at the Formula 1 Media & Technology Centre, ensuring that a standard set is always ready to be deployed at short notice.

To operate safely at all times in line with Company health and safety requirements.

To undertake other duties within your capabilities as your Head of Department or Team Manager may assign to you from time to time.

Qualifications

University Film/TV Production Qualification desirable not essential.

Technical qualification in camera maintenance/operation desirable not essential.
Experience
-
At least a year’s experience working as a videographer in a corporate environment.

Experience in the field of professional photography.

Experience working in a broadcast facilities house desirable not essential.

Operation of sound recording devices and audio mixing desirable not essential.
Knowledge & Skills
-
Good knowledge of broadcasting equipment including Sony’s portfolio of broadcast cameras, audio, lighting, and grip kit.

Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Premiere and After Effects.

Knowledge and understanding of current video production techniques and equipment. Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge and interest in new broadcast equipment releases. Knowledge of Formula 1 and motorsport desirable not essential.
