Health & Human Performance Practice Manager

Key Accountabilities:

Employee Engagement and Relationship Management

  1. Develop and implement engagement and marketing strategies to promote the overall centre services, benefits, and programme, as well as communicating with users and key stakeholders
  2. Foster a positive team culture across the HHPC team in line with the McLaren Racing mission, vision values and behaviours.
  3. Ensure a seamless employee experience across all pillars
  4. Drive close collaboration with healthcare providers and all centre employees to deliver clinical excellence and value-based care across all pillars.
  5. Establish strong relationships and collaboration between key external healthcare providers.
  6. Drive a proactive feedback process, seeking resolutions and implementing improvements where necessary.

HHPC Operations

  1. Manage and run the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, gym and wellness centre.
  2. Ensure efficient running of all administrative functions and scheduled activities, sessions, classes, specialist resources and more.
  3. Oversight of patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  4. Liaise with IT/ Meddbase Electronic Health records system
  5. Oversight of appointment scheduling, ensuring optimal utilisation of clinician’s time and efficient patient flow.

Job requirements

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a practice manager or healthcare manager within a corporate healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practice operations, regulations, governance, data management and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others;- supervising, coaching, and developing staff
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • A degree in health, fitness, nutrition, exercise science, mental health, nursing or a related field is desirable.
  • 5+ years working as a manager within the health and wellness or healthcare industry, ideally within a corporate environment.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Our state of the art, sustainable campus offers many facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break-out areas, as well as direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
