Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator

Every F1 win is the result of incredible teamwork. Making it happen takes the same level of skill, dedication and teamwork from the Formula 1 team. We’re looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting into the D&I Partner, you will support the development and execution of initiatives to diversify the talent pipeline, promote employee engagement and diversity and foster a culture of inclusion and equity in the workplace.

About the role:

  • Assist with coordinating and delivering an annual programme of internal D&I events and initiatives to support national awareness days and cultural events. 
  • Support the delivery of community impact programmes in partnership with charitable partners and local authorities to diversify our talent pipeline and become a local employer of choice.  
  • Support the development of activities to raise the profile and engagement of the F1 Engineering Scholarship programme among students from underrepresented groups, aimed at increasing the attractiveness of engineering subjects to girls and a more diverse pool of talents. 
  • Support communication and engagement activities with a talent pipeline of students from targeted colleges and universities as part of the Early in Careers programme. 
  • Assist in gathering impact data & feedback on D&I and Community initiatives to demonstrate progress and support reporting requirements. 
  • Contribute to developing internal and external communications content to share good news stories and increase awareness of our D&I and community impact. 
  • Support additional special projects on an as-needed basis. 

Specification Essentials:

  • Achieved or working towards relevant or related certifications in, e.g. Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources, Corporate social responsibility, Project Management, Events Management, or another relevant field. 
  • Demonstrated interest in matters related to diversity and inclusion and/or social impact through work experience or extracurricular activities. 
  • A committed and proactive approach to equity, diversity, and inclusion and to own personal development in this area.
  • Proven administrative and coordination skills. 
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively. 
  • Ability to work independently on projects and tasks. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. 
  • Excited by the chance to generate opportunities for individuals disproportionally disadvantaged within their communities. 
  • Passion for engaging with early career talent and fostering their growth and development.
  • Flexibility to work between both offices, Biggin Hill and London.
