Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. 
 
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. 
The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • Support strategic development across the entire commercial department
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, both qualitative and quantitative, of new commercial opportunities, culminating in the creation of strategy documents for senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with senior stakeholders, providing updates on initiatives, and identifying ad-hoc issues, opportunities and risks
  • Independently analyze and develop new revenue opportunities through innovative thinking
  • Monitor global business landscape and partner network developments, providing insights relevant to Formula One's business
  • Develop sponsor target lists based on financial results, corporate strategy, and market fit analysis
  • Support the partnership acquisition process with research on companies in the sales funnel
  • Contribute to the sponsorship sales process by providing commercial insights and benchmarking against competitors in F1 and other leading sports
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales materials with compelling data and narratives
  • Synthesize internal and external research into actionable takeaways and recommendations

Your profile

  • Experience in top-tier strategy consulting, management consulting, or investment banking, advising on strategic initiatives in industries such as sports, media, technology, and automotive
  • A quantitative or business university degree and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for creating presentations
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking, strategy development, and financial modeling
  • Structured and analytical approach to solving complex business problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full professional proficiency in both German and English is mandatory
