Brand Partnerships Manager

What to Expect

The Brand Partnerships Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and operational fulfilment of McLaren Automotive’s brand and licensing partners, such that the contractual rights are fully leveraged and maximised and value-add activation opportunities are sought and achieved to support both businesses’ marketing and business goals - while the long-term individual and company relationships are created and maintained.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the day-to-day account management and delivery of several McLaren Automotive partners 360 activation plans to ensure the partner’s rights are maximised to achieve their objectives and KPIs including;Plan and execute Partner Strategy Roadmap plans, working 6-12 months out in collaboration with the partner and our Brand, Product and Regional teams (EMEA, APAC and US) to seek value add opportunities, supporting both business’ strategic brand, marketing and commercial objectives.Ensure full delivery and execution of all the Partners contractual obligations, within budget.Run and manage partner quarterly governance meetings.Run and manage new partner onboarding process.Build out and manage activation campaigns, experiential or digital. Support the running of partner events and activities, internal and external- alongside the events team. VIP AppearancesExperiential and display asset bookingsMerchandise activity Create detailed partner wrap reports, case studies and annual partnership reviews that identify key learnings from activations.Support with insight for partner renewal proposals and recommendations
  • Develop a strong understanding of assigned partner’s business objectives, brand marketing strategy, target delivery and growth markets, competitors and KPIs.
  • Identify and seek opportunities to drive business growth that could strengthen the value of each brand partner/licensee relationship for McLaren and the partner.
  • Set best practices for project management including weekly/monthly meeting management (agenda setting and note taking) and rights tracking.
  • Responsible for all internal reporting for assigned partners to Senior Leadership Team on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with day-to-day stakeholders within the partners organisations.
  • Support the wider partnerships and marketing team with collective tasks and administration or additional duties as required.
  • Ongoing contract management and governance of key deliverables. Escalating any issues as required with management.
  • Work collaboratively in cross departmental project groups as required.

What You'll Bring

  • Min 2-3 years in an account management role, is essential.
  • Excellent experience of managing client relationships, with proven experience delivering best practise examples
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and execution to drive value add and measurable ROI is key.
  • Experience dealing with and managing key stakeholders (internal and external) at senior levels is required.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage critical paths and projects on time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, excel, Outlook and Word
  • University degree preferred.
