Working in the aero group, the candidate will use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to perform simulations investigating race car performance. The results from these experiments will be used to identify potential performance gains, guide wind tunnel testing, and develop body surface specifications. The CFD engineer will help make improvements to strengthen the aerodynamic performance of the race car.
Duties:
Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Aerodynamics Engineer. In this position, your primary focus continues will be on delivering aerodynamic performance to the race car through analysis of CFD, wind tunnel and track data, and by innovating throughout the design and development process. The ideal candidate will utilize engineering knowledge and experience to prepare for, execute, and report on aerodynamic testing, including but is not limited to, wind tunnel, track and CFD testing.
